Philip Anthony Kuca

Philip is a partner with the firm whose practice is focused on business law, real estate and estate planning.

Born and raised in the City of Hamilton, Philip received his law degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2007. Prior to entering law school, Philip graduated from the University of Toronto where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in 2004.

Having successfully completed his articles with a highly reputable full service firm in the City of Hamilton, Philip received his call to the Ontario Bar in 2008.

Philip represents clients and investors in drafting and advising on shareholder, partnership, and joint venture agreements, contracts and incorporations. Philip also has extensive experience in general corporate matters including governance, reorganization and restructuring, the acquisition and sale of businesses (both assets and shares), office buildings, plazas, vacant land, residential properties, cottage/recreational properties as well as residential and commercial leasing. In addition to these practice areas, Philip acts for private and institutional lenders as well as borrowers in a variety of financing transactions and also maintains a practice in mortgage enforcement proceedings. Further to his understanding in the various forms and types of business organizations, Philip has developed relationships with numerous highly qualified, respected and influential professionals and advisors which allow him to effectively and efficiently service the needs of his clients.

Philip is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and is also a member of the Hamilton Law Association.

Julian, born in Wales but raised in Grimsby, is now a proud longstanding Hamiltonian.

Julian obtained his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees at the University of Waterloo. He then went on to obtain law degrees from both the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy.

Julian was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997 and has practiced exclusively in the areas of plaintiff personal injury and insurance defence litigation since then. He has effectively represented numerous injured MVA and slip and fall victims with their accident benefits and pain and suffering tort claims. He also represented numerous major insurance company clients for roughly 18 years.

Julian initially worked in Toronto for several years, prior to spending almost 15 years at a large Hamilton litigation firm, where he was a partner for 11 years. He joined Centennial Law Group LLP in January 2019 and is excited to engage exclusively in plaintiff personal injury work, focusing primarily on MVA victims, with the Centennial Law Group personal injury team.

Julian is a member of the Hamilton Law Association, Hamilton Lawyers’ Club and Hamilton Medical-Legal Society. He is a former longstanding member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers organization. He is also a former member of the Executive of the Hamilton Lawyers’ Club, and is a former President and past-President of that organization. He is also a member of The Hamilton Club.

Crystal was born and raised in North Bay, Ontario; she is now a proud Hamiltonian.

Crystal completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree with distinction in Criminal Justice, with a stream in Administration and Social Policy, prior to obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. While at the University of Windsor, she attended an International Dispute Resolution course at Monash University, in Prato, Italy.

She also volunteered as a caseworker, and then as a litigator, at the Community Legal Aid in Windsor. She was called to the Bar in 2018.

Crystal’s practice focuses on plaintiff personal injury. Prior to joining Centennial Law Group in 2023, Crystal articled and worked as an associate in a boutique Personal Injury firm in Hamilton.

She is a member of the Hamilton Law Association and Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Patrick Przemyslaw Maziarz

Patrick was born and raised in Hamilton. He completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and Sociology as well as a Master of Arts Degree in Continental Philosophy at Brock University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Bar in 2022.

Patrick’s practice focuses on a variety of transactional matters, including residential and commercial real estate and private and commercial credit facilities. He is also developing his practice in corporate-commercial matters as well as wills and estate planning.

Patrick is fluent in the Polish language and is a member of the Hamilton Law Association.

Nilo Grabar

With nearly a decade of legal experience, Nilo Grabar has provided innovative, effective and compassionate representation to hundreds of individuals and corporations.

As a Senior Paralegal who has quickly built a successful career path, Nilo Grabar manages cases on behalf of clients within the areas of Accident Benefits, Slip & Falls, and W.S.I.B claims. Further, his studies and experience widens his scope of work to include assisting lawyers within the areas of Personal Injury while independently specializing in the areas of Accident Benefits. He is dedicated to assisting his clients in understanding and obtaining the accident benefits to which they are entitled to from insurance companies.

Nilo Grabar studied at Seneca College under the Court and Tribunal Agent program. In late 2005, he was employed with Hamilton Paralegal Group where he started managing claims on behalf of injured individuals. At this time, he also gained experience in civil litigation, Provincial Offences, attending hearings before the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal and various other tribunals while continuing his studies. In January of 2008, he partnered with Gerry Falletta and together formed Affirm Paralegal Services.

In March of 2008, he became licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada to practice as a Paralegal in Ontario. Mr. Grabar advanced his career path by attending seminars and conferences while continuing to represent hundreds of clients. On January of 2014, Nilo Grabar joined Centennial Law Group LLP and continues to prove successful in all his specialized areas of practice.
